Ant-Man and the Wasp
Two figures, sold separately, that had to work as one. Ant-Man and the Wasp ship as individual releases, so each pack has to hold on its own shelf. But they are a pair in the film, and a collector will own both. So the artwork was drawn to meet: stand the boxes side by side and the scene continues across the seam, while each panel still reads as a complete composition on its own.
Silver metallic card with selective white ink builds the Quantum Realm. White ink lays down only where the colour has to hold true; everywhere it is left out, the process colour prints straight onto the silver and the metal comes up through it. The environment shifts as the box turns — which is the one thing the Quantum Realm is supposed to do.
